Southern writes "Use the controls below to change the color of your HTML scrollbars for Internet Explorer.
Enter your colors in hex format, e.g. "FF0033" or click the color chip for a popup color picker.
The CSS for the scrollbars that you create is displayed automatically below. Copy it into your HTML page to easily change the scrollbars for your website.
Note: Firefox doesn't support colored scrollbars and the tool won't appear.
CSS Scrollbar"
Note:Admin - The reason FireFox (and just about any other browser than IE) does not support messing with the scrollbar is that FireFox attempts to be 100% standards compliant. IE 5.5 (and later) support non-standard CSS properties (and other properties) to alter the appearance of scrollbars. Designers really should not touch a scrollbar's appearance as it's actually a part of the User Interface (UI) and, therefore, poses usability problems. Scrollbars are really not a part of the canvas that designers should have influence over.

PHP License Generator Utility
kenetix writes "I've created a PHP license generator script. Basically a script that allows you to generate serial numbers which are bound to domain names with a user-specified expiry date. This is useful if you want to sell or release scripts with serial numbers.
This script is free, and works for any PHP script, including PHP-Nuke. You can get it from Kenetix.net. To view a demo of this tool, visit this link. You can find a collection of other website tools at this page.
Enjoy :)"

Snap Preview Anywhere
hitwalker writes "Ok sometimes i do run into some great sites that can offer something extra for nuke..
Snap Preview Anywhere enables anyone visiting your site to get a glimpse of what other sites you're linking to, without having to leave your site. By rolling over any link, the user gets a visual preview of the site without having to go there, thus eliminating wasted "trips" to linked sites.
This service comes free and offers a snapshot that is great, good looking and works perfect. All you realy have to do is register and then you get a JS that you have to put inside your head tags.
Thats it ! The usage for a nuke site looks very promissing...

Thumb up your site.....
hitwalker writes "We all like to use images, screen shots, thumbnails, etc....
And as thumbs were used a lot from Alexa, that company decided some time ago to stop that free service.
That's where Michael Jentsch gives the solution.
I called him in Germany yesterday and he's definitely proud of what he made and a very nice person to talk to.
The service he provides is free and opens the door for some nice development..
You use the url + web site link and you got yourself a thumbnail !
Currently Michael serves up to 350.000 requests per day, using a handy cache as well.
Naturally he's trying his best to boost up the power as he becomes more popular."
