PHP-Nuke allows the webmaster and/or site editor options, feedback and statistics. Unlike plain "static" HTML, PHP-Nuke is dynamic and ever changing. This is possible because of database technology. Your PHP-Nuke database collects and displays information, giving you and the end-user a much gratifying experience.

This release is PHP-Nuke 7.9, with Patched Series 3.2 (most current fixes as of date of this article), BBtoNuke 2.0.21 and TinyMCE 2.0.6.1 applied. This build is fast, light and very nimble!


Post patched series core file edits and modifications include (complete version changelog):

  • Upgraded BBtoNuke to version 2.0.21
  • Upgraded TinyMCE to version 2.0.6.1
  • Updated javascript.php to fully tweak TinyMCE (Admin only)
  • Populated Categories table
  • Replaced ALL 'index.html' with "Restricted Access" message
  • Fixed double "single" quote
  • Topic image not displaying
  • Better positioned banner in DeepBlue theme header
  • $sitename variable not parsing in Newsletter footer
  • Corrected English syntax admin language files
  • Removed all themes except DeepBlue
  • Removed all Journal styles (except DeepBlue)
  • Removed block-User_Login.php from blocks directory (redundancy)
  • Removed block-Sample_Block.php from blocks directory
  • Removed readme.txt from blocks directory (block-Sample_Block.php)
  • Created /upgrades/0.2x/ directory for BBtoNuke upgrade scripts
  • Updated meta.php with fewer and more relevent KEY WORDS
  • Updated RSS news feeds with fewer and more relevent websites
  • Added upgrade20-21.php to 0.2x directory
  • Added xml.gif to images directory
  • Created /upgrades/0.1x/ directory for BBtoNuke upgrade scripts
  • Added universal forums block
  • Removed all language files, except for English and Spanish
  • Removed all language image files, except for English and Spanish
  • Fixed forums admin edit smilies not diplaying properly
  • Added block-Advertising_Right.php to blocks directory
  • Added new banner position (2)
  • Fixed Advertising "Client Login"
  • Applied PHP-Nuke Patched - Version 3.2 for 7.9 (2/20/2006)
  • Removed upgrade.php
  • Converted all special characters to HTML entities (nuke.sql)
  • Changed Custom Title from “Advertising” to “Advertise With Us”
  • Expanded $AllowableHTML array
  • Critical Pagetitle XSS FIX (2/21/2006)
  • Fixed MySQL Compatibility Issue
  • Updated mainfile.php Online Function
  • Fixed Number 0 Inserted Into ICQ Field
  • News Category Bug/Fix 7.9.3.2f
  • Fixed Admin Create/Modify User Avatar Path Broken
  • Applied PHP-Nuke Patched - Version 3.2B 7.9 (7/23/2006)
  • Updated Journal module (WYSIWYG editor compatitably)
  • Updated Newsletter module (WYSIWYG editor compatitably)
  • Created Groups module extension
  • Removed unused/legacy images
  • Added getting started news story
  • Added getting started topic post
  • Removed images/smiles directory
  • Removed forums upgrade scripts
  • Removed unused/legacy files
  • Fixed Web Links module email validation
  • Changed default $nuke_editor = 1
  • Changed default $gfx_chk = 7
