Old problem new question

Is there any way that the image tag thingie could be made to work.

Sorry for being so un-techy here, but when you post a link either to another site or an image in an article or a block you get that message "the html you are attempting to use is not allowed" or something along those lines.

It's so easy to update the site with Chatserv's updates, but each time you have to edit the mainfile to keep the html tags working it's a nightmare for me, cos I'm petrified of missing something out and my site going up the swanny.

They always used to work once upon a time then several updates ago they stopped, now they work with Chatserv's help, but I have to edit the mainfile manually now each time I update the site.

I'm not moaning, well I am rofl, but it would make life so much easier for me.
