I'd like to add that we are still assembling what we believe to be the Best of the Best. Once we have what the Community (at least those that visit here) has expressed as a MUST have out of the box, the true Forking begins, in my mind. We will start addressing efficiency as well as added security. It would be fool-hardy to fork the base code and then have all the main, necessary addons have to be reverse engineered. So, my approach is to establish the baseline, fork it, release it, then be cremated and laid to rest Wink

If I remember correctly when you run Bob's downgrade script it puts "Resecured PHP-Nuke 7.6" in the footer.

Might be helpful if you told us exactly what the error message says but I just tried it and it works for me both in Internet Explorer and Firefox 1.5

The messages says The archive "appears to be damaged or corrupt" etc.
I usually get this error when downloaded large file and reloaded normally corrects it if the file continues to download where it stopped.
This doesn't seem to happen when downloading zip files. The zip files download from the beginning instead of where it left off.

Known issue with IE on WinXP SP2. Try FireFox instead, even if its just to download, but I am sure many here would also suggest that it is a better browser anyways... Wink

lovely,

Search the forums. We have addressed this and you will have a better explanation. But, as Montego said, you should dump IE anyway. Use FireFox. It's safer and better.
