I have just installed the latest nuke plat. 7.6.b.4v2 on my test site.

My main site is running nuke 7.7

I want to import my members list, user groups, and complete forums from 7.7 to Platinum 7.6.b.4v2.

is this an option? I mean it has to be right?

but How can I do this,,,,,Obviously the simple idea of backing up the DB's and importing from site to site didnt work.

I am not aware of a downgrade script from 7.7 to 7.6; only one from 7.8 to 7.6. (I think.) You may have to compare the two database schemas (i.e., dump the table structures out of both) and do your own "downgrade" on each table, as needed, prior to exporting that table and importing it into the 7.6 version.

Personally, I would do this on a local copy of your site rather than your production site unless you want a lengthy "outage" to your users.

7.7 and 7.8 are very close so you can probably start with the 7.8 downgrade script and remove anything that doesnt apply.
