What I got from the Passion

Just a note to share my thoughts on the movie "The
Passion of the Christ" -
The word that describes how I felt at the end is
"exhausted." You go through every thing He did along
with Him every step of the way. I actually tried to
get up as soon as it was over and almost fell into the
people in front of me! I , along with everyone else
in the theatre, was wiped out. It's almost like you
had just experienced a horrible tragedy and your mind
was still in shock. You had not yet been able to
process all you had seen.
I was raised in church, and I knew the story well as
most of you. However, there was one thing that spoke
to me more than anything else. One scene shows Him
telling the disciples to love each other as He has
loved them. That floored me. Look at how He showed
His love for us, all that He went through for our
pitiful souls. How quickly do we write someone off for
little things they have done to us?
To sum it up, I saw many people praying at the close
of the movie. I myself couldn't even bring myself to
pray. If anything, I felt unworthy to even pray to
Him.
I know many others have seen it, and I would love to
hear what stood out to you in the movie.

I am passionate about "The Passion Of The Christ." I went to see the movie the first day it came out, and there has not been one day since that I haven't thought about it. Every day in my heart I thank God and Mel Gibson for bringing this movie to me and to the world.

It was quite different for me, when I left the theater I had a renewed zest; I felt exhuberant! I felt like I could do anything! After what He went through, our tiny troubles are nothing. This movie has reinforced the meaning of "I can do all things through Christ who strengthens me."

I have a lot of information about "The Passion" at
