hi there, hello dear Nukers,

yesterday - [aug, 20 2006] i grabbed the newwest version of ravenphpScripts.com the site here.

now i installe this system - my question - which sql-file should i take;

this one:

\rwsRavenNuke76_v2.02.02_FULL\phpNuke7.6_Docs\sql

By the way: does this version support MySQL version 5xx? Please let me know. On my box Mysql 5 is running. What can i do. Can i run your PHP-Nuke.version? Many many thanks in advance

next question; which sql-file should i take: this

\rwsRavenNuke76_v2.02.02_FULL\html\INSTALLATION\sql

or that \rwsRavenNuke76_v2.02.02_FULL\phpNuke7.6_Docs\sql
if i take this dump then i have created 88 Tabeles
with an altogether of 236 MyISAM latin1_swedish_ci 137,9 KB 0 Bytes

the file is called xxxORIGnuke.sql - is this correct or should i take another
sql-file

please advice - i have errors after installing this file

look forward for any and all help

regards
sl

First of all Welcome!

Next, you cannot apply both \rwsRavenNuke76_v2.02.02_FULL\phpNuke7.6_Docs\sql and \rwsRavenNuke76_v2.02.02_FULL\html\INSTALLATION\sql.

You need to follow the instructions in the HowToInstall manual. You may need to drop and re-create your database to make sure you are starting off "clean".

and here i find the install instrcutions - for the online installer -(is this right)

with that i have a almost fully fledged online install process

one question - do i have to edit the config file. I read that somewhere .

well montego i guess that i have mixed up some informations - so i have somwhwat of a mess here.

first of all - i delete the allready created tabeles - and go the way here

and i guess that i find the fully automized install way with

1. creating (/installing the tables in the db that i have set up allready)

2. including the probably - the automatic editing of the config file

can you confirm that - !? - i look forward to hear from you

best regards

If you have phpmyadmin available go into that and use the dump functionality there to create a dump. There are instructions in the documentation.

Or you can go into the administration screen on PHPnuke and there is a backup database button that you can use.
