hi guys,
i was searching for a way to have a global announcement (or global sticky) topic. it wud be displayed as an announcement topic on the top of every forum.
this feature comes pre-installed with IPB and vBulletein..
plz c if there is some way to have global announcements on bb2nuke also.
PS: i found a mod at phpbbhacks.com... i think thats the one im looking for. but im not sure. so plz help !

a global announcement cant be that urgent can it?... 
so what did you find this time  ?

Well, it is kinda important coz ive re-framed the terms and conditions and rules for posting on the forum.
Also, ive implemented the hide mod...
so informing the users is must....
since im already having a problem with mass email, so global announcement is kinda imp !!!
btw, thnx for the suggestion ! ive corrected the spelling ! |

i even searched google and found that this mod had been ported and it was available at portedmods.com but since that site is no more so cudnt find it..
i also found .. It says that this mod has been ported... but the link to download it doesnt exist anymore now !!! |

yes, this is on my site as well. It has been for a long, long time. I feel bad for for you the next time you HAVE to upgrade your forums due to security issues. You have gone a little mod crazy with them. |

lol !!! well, its not really mod crazy but there need to be some features which are missing in BB!!!
i wish there was IPB instead of phpBB in ravenNuke !!!
btw, i had already checked the download available on ur site.... i even downloaded it but it was a global announcement further enhancement which displayed a global announcement scrolling on the homepage IF THE GLOBAL ANNOUNCEMENT MOD was ALREADY INSTALLED.....
btw, i think i wont be able to install it coz it has Medium level installation !!! lol
