That is a lot of transfer and I believe that your site is a yahoo site which is prone to ddos attacks. I could be wrong but I believe so. I am sure Raven will get back to you shortly.

Sounds like you need your own dedicated server, I personally recommend 1and1's managed or root server. It will easily match those conditions and beat them, for a competitive price.

I agree with evaders, 1and1.com is a darn good company. I buy all my domains through them, and have one of my hosting accounts there. Great prices, uptime, and customer support. You would never guess I have an affiliate ID too would you LOL

Seriously they are a great company for buying domains from, hosting is pretty good too. I've been with them a year and am still a happy customer.

I like the look of Raven's web hosting for Php Nuke sites though. I have my nuke sites hosted somewhere else, but it seems that Raven offers some very nice nuke services.

It's interesting. I get more accounts from disgruntled 1and1 users than any other company. I do know that they overload their shared servers excessively. That's usually why people leave. Their site just gets slower and slower. I'm not trying to start a war here Smile

I too have quite a few disgruntled ex- 1&1 clients on my books but I have to be fair and say these were all shared hosting environment customers.

Quite a few have had problems transfering domain names away as well but they seem to be getting better with that now.

I run their root server though hehe Smile

I can resell as needed, and 1 TB monthly bandwidth is just godly.

I currently use 1and1 for hosting, but I've noticed over the past couple of months my sites PHPNuke sites have been getting slow. Normal HTML isn't a problem, so it must the server serving the database, as none of my sites get heavy traffic.

Not sure I can afford the expense of a dedicated server!

The service has been pretty good up until now, I was just starting to look around for another host for a new site.

Anyway sorry getting away from the original topic.
