I have three groups defined in RN 2.02.02. I can see them and the users in the nuke_nsngr_groups and nuke_nsngr_users tables in the DB. However, when I'm logged in as admin and go to the Groups admin module, I can't view the groups. When I select the "View Groups (3)" link, I get back a table with "There are no groups in the database."

This used to work, but I recently upgraded to NukeSentinel 2.5.02. Did the upgrade break something? Or do I have some other weird thing going on?

PS...

I had tested NS 2.5.02 post-install, and it all seemed to work correctly. Since them, I've been working on getting the NSN Paypal Donate block installed and working. Everything seems to go well through Paypal, but it has an issue adding a user to the group. Did the Donate process do something to my groupg?

"There are no groups in the database." That doesn´t have to to do anything with NukeSentinel or your Donate block. Check your settings and create again a group or a add a test group and check the database table.

I successfully created a test group. The "View Groups" link incremented to 4. When I go to "View Users" the new group shows up in the list (as do the original three groups). The test groups is in the nuke_nsngr_groups table, and an entry with gid=4 shows up in the nuke_nsngr_users table for the moderator user.

However... I still get the "there are no groups in this database" message when I go to the "View Groups" link.

Well, I had the same problem long time ago and its solved on my site. I played several times with the options like the:
Send Expiring Notice
# items in lists
and the Date Display Format .
I got 2-3 times "There are no groups in the database".

But I repaired the database and it worked afterthat.
I also added Evaders moderator fix into the table. But thats another thing.

Bingo! Thanks.
I didn't make the code change, but I did go to the configuration and set the notify to yes and the number to 50. After saving, I went back to View Groups and my data showed up!

Thanks again.

Interesting one that.
Today I added a group, added users then tested the email group function.
The group received the email and all was well.
The next thing I did caused the same problem that webservant posted.
All I did was add the PHP time/date, saved it and the problem occurred.

"There are no groups in the database."
But the group count in the panel showed 1.

I did the same as webservant: notify to yes and the number to 50.
That sorted it.

Using Forum search produced this post as a result.. thanks for the quick solution Susann and for your feedback webservant, both were a help to me and much appreciated. Very Happy

best regards
James Mc
