I m looking for a mod who can ban members for 3 days or longer.
After the expiration of this term the members should be active again and able to post.
I can handle this manual but I´m so busy through this and don´t want spend the most time of life in my database.
Would like to work more effective. So is there a mod who can handle this in one way or an other ? |

Yes I was just going to post that too.
The Jail Mod would do this and has other options which might be of use to you. I have used it on one site and they found it very useful. I think it was for a few forum versions ago but it should still work. |

Susann,
I modified your topic title a bit to help with others looking for something similar. If I have not mod'd it to your satisfaction, please feel free to adjust. |

I have used this on a site wtih 25,000+ memebers. The initial load can be about a minute but that is livable with such a wide number of members. What are you experiencing? |

Well, I´m using 6.5 and I had hard problems before with GPOINTS and that was because of the number of members.
Nobody was able to fix this problem only the author.
The jail mod is not updated since 2004 I believe and you can`t backtalk to him. But this means nothing.I trust you.
I only handle every changes on my website with care. |

I installed BANTRON maybe I´m the only nuke site with this mod. However its no ported mod and there are some small problems. If anyone tested or installed this mod in PHPNuke and is interested to share files, ideas and the German lang files let me know. |

Susann, if you like BANTRON perhaps you could start a fresh topic so others can find it easier?
What specific problems are you having, maybe we can get this working for you if it has some english language files. |

If you are saying you can ban someone when you are an anonymous user then yes, that is definitely a problem.
What if an anonymous user bans a moderator or an admin - nasty!
It might be something simple like moveing the ban function to an area in the forum code where a permission check has been done to ensure only mods and admins can ustilise the ban function. |

The message there is banned by Anonymus but anonymus user don´t have access to the forums administration.
Sure, there are some changes required in admin_users-bantron.php to work with nuke but this ban mod is much better than the standard phpBB ban function.. |
