In the past I wanted install FNA but now I can't find it.

Someone can tell me where to find the LATEST version?

Is it fully compatible with nuke? I need some fixes? Is it upgraded or is a dead project?

The author has not made updates for quite some time.
I looked at installing this recently too but the readme is not very explicit in detailing the locations certain edits need to be done and on one occassion where it said search for a particular line, the line actually appeared in three places within the same file.

Unless you have the time (which I didnt) to examine how the edits integrate, you may find this one difficult.
And sorry, it has been that long since I downloaded it, I do not remember where I got it from.

have no idea.......

ForumNews Advance adds a new News module to your phpNuke site.
It allows posting of News through the Forums layout and it uses the Forums as comment function.
Make sure you go to the manual link first, to see if your site will be able to run FNA.

get it here..

Seems that it's functioning right.

Btw it's possible choose "normal post" / "news post" in every forum section... can I make only 1 section where people insert news and all other sections like normal forum sections?

Laughing
The option is added only if you are logged as admin or you are using your main admin account, so it's right Wink

Just stumbled upon this.

Yes, I have it installed, and it took a fair amount of effort to do this. It works fine, though, and I like it. I do not really bother to turn approval system on and configure it, I either post news myself or edit any worthwhile piece of info posted by others to put it on the front page.

Did not have any problem with it so far except one. If you post contains a link and it happens to be cut by whatever number of symbols you are advancing to front page, your front page gets completely messed up. This is one of the reasons I do my advances myself.

Hope this helps.
Misha
