every other function works but the edit and delete of the news items
will not work. Instead of the graphics its shows gray boxes. It acts as
if the links to click on are not there as well. I am using NSN News 200rc2 70-79. |

i never seen this before...a conflict that knocks out the edit functions seems likely.. |

I agree - this is strange.
What browser are you using? Did you verify that the images are in place? Do the links work? |

I wouldn't say that - he hasn't responded to that yet. But it might not be necessary if it's just missing the images. |

hi,
well i checked what i could but this is a mistery...
i cant even find a hard links connected to the edit functions....
and that goes for the whole page of stories.
all the edit links have a blank image thats it.
What nsn news version is it?
if its the latest then i suggest you install the previous version...
as for the admin edit problems....
try turning on error report in your config and maybe that shows something,or you might not have the proper rights to edit...depends on as who you are logged in at the time.. |

well chanhing versions is realy no big deal, atleast you can try...
for a lot of people the newest version doesnt work as they hoped for..
try the 1.1.6 instead...

I just tried something when I published a news article and tried to edit it from the main page. I recieved this return message "You can not edit or delete articles that you did not publish" I posted everyone of these news articles. I has to be something to do with names. |

I did notice something that was very weird when I posted a download in
the download area and returned to edit the download. The download I post came
up as Anonymous as the person that posted it. If you can go back to my site
and look at the downloads. Go to the newest track I added within the Aero 88 track
section and edit it through admin options and look there. It writes in Anonymous
as the submitter. I think there might be something else causing this issue |
