So I noticed that BBtoNuke 2.0.21 to 2.0.22 is available. I also vaguely remember seeing forum posts about people saying there were problems with 22. What's the word on the street? Is it safe to upgrade? Thanks! |

It's in 2.10. There were some problems with sessions that probably related to cookies, if that makes any sense but we were never able to isolate it. BB does it's own sessions thing that seems to me to be problematic in certain circumstances but it's a thicket to wade into. Go for it or wait a bit for 2.10 and just keep the cookie and cookie path issue in mind if you have problems. |

BBToNuke 2.0.22 seems to be fairly stable. It is the cookie issue that gets most problems. If you set it correct in your Forums config, you should be fine |

Didn't want to start my own thread for this rather small issue, but I encountered the "Invalid Session" error today when testing the new RavenNuke locally.
It was a clean install with nothing added and no mySQL data imported.
I was able with my admin user to change my signature and other settings in "Your Account", but in the forum's "Profile" I got an "Invalid Session, resubmit the form" error even if I didn't change anything in my profile. I were able to post threads and all.
Searched some and read a few posts about this Invalid Sessions bug.. I was able to solve mine by blanking "Cookie Domain" in Forum Config. The bug was very reproducable, whenever I wrote anything in the "Cookie Domain" (cleared cookies and restarted firefox each time) I would get "Invalid Session". Same thing in IE too.
My questions are:
Is this bug only because I ran on localhost, and if so why?
PS. I have an old Raven 2.02.02 site that I eventually wanna upgrade to 2.10.1, is there any script to make sure the table structure of my mySQL backup is fully up-to-date? Know I had a few problems with the nuke_bbconfig table previously (not hard to do that one from scratch though). |

Yes, localhost is the problem. The cookie domain needs to correspond exactly to the domain you are using. (I honestly don't know if "localhost" creates a valid cookie in this case, but try it and see) |

nukeresources.com has the BBtoNuke upgrade scripts. You have to get and apply each one in order. The latest version is 2.0.22. |
