going from 2.02.02 to 2.10.00 and all seems well so far. can't get tegonuke to work, set it to true, page generations went up 5 seconds, and the urls are not being rewritten...but that's nothing to worry about yet, or here.
Thanks for a great and secure product! |

Glad it's working well so far.
In relation to shortlinks don't forget to copy the information into your .htaccess file. |

You need to set in rnconfig the options for ShortLinks to "true" and when you have already a .htaccess file just copy the ShortLinks.htaccess into your .htaccess. |

That is definitely odd behaviour. Sounds to me like something environment driven. What version of PHP is this running under? This is definitely Apache right??? |

P.S. I hope you do not mind, but I moved this thread to the RN ShortLinks forum and also gave it a more descriptive title. |

My version is 4.4.4 but I believe there isn´t a great difference.Mod rewrite works perfectly. Did that ever worked for you in the past ?
Is mod rewrite available on your host ? You can check this with phpinfo and there under "Loaded modules".
However, sometimes its not listened there for security reasons but its available. |

sixf00t4, you say that the URLs are not shortened, which is not an issue (yet) with mod_rewrite. Have you tried logging in as admin and then turning the ShortLinks debug switch on?
You may need to PM me your web site address and an admin login so that I can see for myself what is going on. |

don't hate me.
I had the folder named Shortlinks, not ShortLinks.
Capitalization is the difference between "I helped my Uncle Jack off a horse" and "i helped my uncle jack off a horse" |

No problem. Just glad you found it and now others may now learn the subtleties of how to help their uncle. |
