Looking for NewsSync for Platinum 7.6b4v2

I recently upgraded my site from phpNuke 7.5 for Platinum 7.4.b4.v2. Everything is running fine except for NewsSync 1.5.0.r6. ANy chance anyone else has gotten it to work?
This is what I get wheen I try to run it from the command line:

I would consider a decent donation if someone can get it to install/run cleanly on current Platinum installs.

Im open to other suggestings for gating NNTP news groups in/out of Forums.

I have also been searching for a good way to gate email mailing lists in/out of forums. I remember there being a module called mail2forums (m2f) and CM2F but I haven't seen anyone keeping either up to date with any current distributions other than native phpBB.

if im not mistaken that error comes from sentinel.
so somehow the method isnt allowed...
