Sorry if this is in the wrong section, but got confused as to which section would be best... so many to choose from lol
I recently downloaded and installed the following package; rwsRavenNuke76_v2.02.02_FULL as a demo site, but now I see you have other versions, (according to your downloads). But according to the downloads, you have RavenNuke[tm] Version 2.10.00 Released, but you have 4 versions with same version number. This is confusing !! Which is your most recent version, and what differences is there between them and 2.02.02_FULL ??
Any difference between versions you might have can be read in the files that go with it...

And the changelog of ravennuke is included in the distro but im happy to post is here just for you :
2007-03-11 v2.10.00 Major Release
We, the RavenNuke(tm) Team, have fixed well over 10,000 Notices, Warnings, Errors, etc. It would be a monumental task to try to state them all. I will just give an overview.
- Greatly enhance speed.
This was mainly accomplished through all the Notices, Warnings, and Errors that we cleaned up from the Logs. Even though you may not display them, your browser still has to process through/around them. This takes more time than you might imagine. All totaled, it became significant.
- Standards Compliance
We have taken a major leap towards the code being HTML and XHTML compliant, other than the forums.
- Themes
For compliancy we had to do some major surgery to the themes. Be sure to pay special attention to this as you replace and/or add themes from this distribution.
Includes
- NukeSentinel(tm) v2.5.06 and the latest IP2COUNTRY tables
- The latest release of WYSIWYG FCKEditor
- The latest PHPBB fixes
- The latest HTML_NewsLetter
- ShortLinks
- Dynamic Titles
- GT Blocks
- Security Fixes

Thats not what I meant lol. I meant content wise, as all four variations vary greatly in size.

Thanks, so I guess the main difference between 2.10.00 & 2.02.02_FULL is that theres been 10,000 Notices, Warnings, Errors, etc. fixed plus loads of added extras. I guess I had better remove the 7.6 2.02.02 version and change to 2.10.00
yes but i explained that in my reply...
all versions are the same....same everything..etc..
but differently packed...like we pack it in gzip or rar,or just zip...

For what it's worth, there is a clear upgrade path from 2.02 full to RN2.10. You don't have to go thru a full install if you have 2.02. If you don't have any data you might as well, but if you do you can run the upgrade. There are instructions right in the package for upgrading.
Ok cool. I haven't yet checked it, but I will do. Thanks for the heads up.
Thinking about it, I may as well do the upgrade, it'll give me the practise. Out of curiosity, as RN is based on Nuke 7.6, I'm guessing that it can also be converted to either Platinum or Evolution, (if required)?

Up to you what you decide / want to do. I will not try and dissuade you otherwise. The core of RN is 7.6, yes, so at least at the core, it should be close. However, you will have to use a tool such as mySQLDiff to understand the full breadth of differences and to do your own manual manipulation of the table structures in order to get them to match before you try and export/import the data.
I was only wondering, as regards to the platinum and evo conversions, as I am opening a site that will offer services that will include cms installation, upgrades and conversions.
