HELP ME PLZ !! forum groups doing thier own thing

Hi fellas,

wonder if you can help, ive been building a new site in 7.9 and its due for release in a few days and ive stumbled across a rather strange but very big problem.

I setup the forum groups and forums a week ago and when i came back to them they had changed, the forums where fine but the groups are now allowing members of those groups to see other areas of the forums the groups where setup not to see.

and whats worse Ill edit a groups permissions and not only do they all read ALLOW ACCESS, thats the only option it gives so I cant change them back.

Also one of my admins on the forum lost his admin status for no reason, it just changed him back to a normal user.

Its like there is a hacker/gremlin in my site but I know for a fact thats not the case.

Has anyone had problems like this before.

If this is a brand new site going up, I would highly recommend using the latest RN Distro 2.10.01. You can do a search here for numerous reasons why. Also, I believe there was a discussion on downgrading from 7.8 and 7.9 with what needs to be done for database conversion to Ravens. Just a friendly suggestion.... Smile
