is there a script to convert the db info from post nuke to rn?

Look around for mysqldiff. It might provide you with the information about database structure differences and changes you need.

that script did not work as I needed, I managed just to compare the tables, then drop some of the fields from the pn db and export the data to the new db, only took a couple of hours, around 1000 users and almost 5000 forum posts. Once I figured out what to do it was really simple getting the data converted.
