I followed the steps from the guide after installing.
I followed each n everystep on authcgi
and no when i try to go to admin.php
it prompts username/pw over n over n over
no matter how many times
everything is correct and exact
yet still
same prompt

You've posted a bunch of times, I'll assume this is your latest problem and you haven't installed Joomla yet. Wink

It can't be correct if this is happening. How did you generate your password? With crypt()? Is the path to your .staccess in the .htaccess file the FULL and correct path?
