For my youngest

Our youngest child is in boot camp. Got to talk with him for about 3 minutes Saturday and he is feeling a bit overwhelmed right now, which is not unusual for what he is going through. I ask that you keep him in your prayers for a lifted spirit. He is the hardest on himself, which is what he is battling right now. He is out and on his own for basically the first time and what an experience he is having for the first one....lol. I am just worried about his emotional level right now. He did tell me they get half a day off Sunday to do some limited things, and he was going to church first, and then back to study which was excellent news. Thanks all.

Sounds to me like you have done a wonderful job at that command! Wink

Just an update, this is his last week coming up hopefully. Just listening to him talk, he is definitely a changed person. This is their put it all together week before graduation. Thanks for the prayers. God is working greatly in his life right now. I guess he needed to really be stress before he realized who was really able to help him through it. Wednesday night they will be up all night doing "Battle Stations" till Thursday, and then if they passed that, they will graduate Friday.

We are in Chicago now. He graduated Friday. It was an awesome program they put on. He has had liberty Friday, today, and tomorrow until 2100 hours then we have to have him back on base and to his compartment. It has been an awesome experience for us. We are picking him up at 0800 tomorrow but he says " I would like to be able to go to church" so we are going to stay on base and attend services with him at their chapel....... Smile

Just when I thought it couldn't get any better than it had.....HE is amazing and does provide more than we could ever think of.....or think is possible..... Smile
