I currently have an IMPORT folder in my RN root. The folder contains a lot of large files which are named {country}.data where {country} is an actual country name. I think this was something to do with IP2COUNTRY. As I have imported all of the data can I delete this folder or is it needed to run the app?

Yes you can delete the data folder once you import it
