i was running 8.0 when it went south. i reinstalled 7.6 yesterday and I had saved the old database and after i reuploaded everything, I reinstalled the old database and then started adding everthing back. Everything seems ok except that it shows me logged in all the time. I click logout, and it shows me logged out, but when the page refreshes, I am logged right back in. Also I noticed when I reloaded the database that for some reason I had 395 links waiting to be approved. It still lets spammers in even tho I have all patches installed. Is there a way to stop this? I even get 10 to 12 emails a day from the feedback module saying " Nice site. Now check out mine." That gets very annoying. Some help would be greatly appreciated.

dark-dude, scrap it and start over again with RavenNuke from this site. It has spam captchas built in and many bug fixes, including anonymous web link adds bug that I don't think has every been patched before.

OK Can I still use my database? It has my forum stuff and my members and the theme i use and all that stored in it. Or do I copy those parts out and replace them into the new databse after it is created?

There are many many posts here about using various Nuke version databases with RN. Basically you need to compare the structures and make the structure of your database 100% consistent with RN. That sounds more complicated than it turns out to be, there are only a few field changes and additions and some work to do with NSNgroups. But you can find this all by searching.

dark-dude, in addition, there is a HowToInstall manual which comes with the RavenNuke download with a page which talks specifically about migration from other versions of PHP-Nuke.
