Do a search in the forums, as this hack has been discussed before.

There are modules like Approve Membership and CNB that will do it also, but not sure if they will work with 7.3, you will probably need to be running the latest patched files.

samersms, I cannot see anything wrong with your code at the moment. That error message is produced outside of the code that you changed and can ONLY be hit if you still have on the nuke_users_temp or nuke_users table the email address. You may have missed one or the other (i.e., check nuke_users_temp.

BTW, you might want to consider the fact that you posted an entire script and that people here also have real lives to live and many people to help. Sometimes it may require a bit more patience. Wink

Thanks MONTEGO, I know that I have to be more patience
I checked my nuke_users_temp and found the information of the users, their names and emails and coded passwords and other info
but in nuke_users I found only one user !!

If I transfer users from nuke_users_temp to nuke_users table , the problem will solved?? and how I transfer them ?

samersms, the issue that I was specifically trying to address is your testing of the autoactivation hack and how it was throwing this message "mail was registered before". You might want to clear out the nuke_users_temp table and try your testing again, making sure the user name and/or mail address is NOT already in the nuke_users table.

I just have a feeling that when you were testing that you may have forgotten that it will check both nuke_user_temp and nuke_users for usernames and mail address duplication, not just nuke_users.

The latest version of nuke is 8.1, but I'm sure everyone will recommend RavenNuke over what FB releases, which originated from 7.6.

It's more secure, has more features etc etc.

samersms, the original autoactivation hack was written many, many, many years ago so is for an old nuke. Unfortunately, it has not kept pace with changes in nuke and the patches.

Unfortunately, that is the way it is with open source. Good ideas like this can come and go.
