I am running PHPNuke 6.9 and I am not longer able to Delete/Move or Split Posts. Lock is working. I've this problem since I move my site to a new hosting. PHP 4.4.3

Once I try to do that, I return on the main page without any errors. I do'nt understand why. I can go to split option and display the split message, once I selected somene and click on "Split selected message" and I go the the main page of my website and forum is intact.

Thank you for your help!!

What version of BBtoNuke were you using under 6.9 though? It's possible when you changed hosts that old code isn't compatible with your hosts newer PHP or MySQL.

Version of PHP and Mysql are the same on the new hosts. I've test on my local computer and it works too.

I can lock subjects (same option on modcp.php) but I can't confirm split, delete or move but I can access to this options. It's just when I click on button "Split selected" than I return to the main screen.

Thks

You keep being asked what version of phpBB you are running. If you have a fairly old version, it might say on the footer of the forums. If it's newer, look for the version in the bbconfig table or the Admin Panel.

99% of the time, issues that only involve phpBB behavior have nothing to do with Nuke, and so we'll approach this as if it were a slightly modified standalone phpBB. We just need to know what version we're dealing with here before we can start recommending options for you.

It's a very old version (2.0.6) I know. I can't upgrade it cause too mods in there.
Problem that I can't explain is why it works on one hosts and not in another with the same version of php and mysql (registers_global are ON). It works too on my local computer with appserv. Don't reply me that I must upgrade, I can't do it.

The only thing I can offer then is that maybe one of the files was corrupted in the move. Try re-FTPing over the top of your modules/Forums directory as well as the includes and see if that fixes it... BUT, please use a good FTP client such as FileZilla (free from sourceforge.net).

I've found !!!!

No files corrupted ! Same problem was error 403 access forbiden but I've a redirection.
The solution and that works is to add the two following lines in your .htaccess files :

SecFilterEngine Off
SecFilterScanPOST Off

Problem solved and was confirmed on other forums.

Thanks to all

Hhmmm... interesting, so mod_security was muckin' with it. You might want to see if you can get the one rule that is stopping modcp.php adjusted rather than completely turning off mod_security. But, since I have never used it, I am not even sure how that is done. Am thinking it would have to be your Host if you are on a shared server?

Glad you are back to working to your satisfaction though.

Yes, you're right ! Its' a bad configuration mith mod_security but I can't access to it and administrator don't want to help us on this subject and now I've prefer to disable this program. Problem is same for all version of Nuke. We have encounter the same problem on the latest version 8.1

Conclusion, it's the only way to solve it.
