blocking all user agents with Java

I didn´t know that there so many versions of java user agents exist.
I have already banned a lot of them like
Java/1.4.1_04
Java/1.5.0_06
etc.
I believe normal visitors don´t have such user agents. Most of the time these are spambots. Makes it sence to ban UA with Java general ?

Or would I ban legitim visitors /users from these countries also ?

As far as I know, there's not a browser built on Java itself. I would go ahead and block all Java user-agents

It could be that some services use Java when I try to do some checks. But I ´ll simple add "Java" into the blocker.
Or do you know how to block all versions via .htaccess ?

RewriteCond %{HTTP_USER_AGENT} ^Java
RewriteRule ^.*$ http://127.0.0.1 [R,L]

It will block any user agent that begins with Java
