I was running 7.5 patched to 3.1 for a small clan gaming community. My host switched from php4 to php5 2 weeks ago and my site got hacked into. So my question is this, is it possible to still use the database from 7.5 to your raven nuke 7.6. |

Although I'm not sure switching to php5 caused vulnerabilities, you should be able to convert your 7.5 database to work with RN. It will require changes.
As for a new host, as a customer I can say Raven is top notch... |

Sorry for the late response. I've been chasing a ghost all day but finally got it!
I agree with kguske concerning the php version. I doubt that that's what caused it. Yes, of course the database can be converted and RN supplies the tools and instructions on how to do that.
As to the hack, what exactly got hacked? |

Hi Raven
Glad you caught the ghost lol. I have been trying to find 1 to but am having no luck catching it lol
I tried to convert the site/database and have had no luck. Very fraustrating lol. Good to hear that it can be done. I will need assistance doing it though.
As for the hack, I do not know how exactly they did it. All I did was re-upload the index, admin , mainfile , config, header and footer files and the site was back up. This has happened a few times.
I will purchase 2/200 plan. Please let me know what other info you need from me and if there is any extra charge for converting the site over. I have tried and I am losing my patience trying to figure it out lol. |

Thanks for setting up the account so fast . I am having a problem logging into this link from the email : Client Center I can access everything else fine. I also change the dns to reflect ravenwebhosting. My old host's support is pretty crappy right now so I hope it propagates quickly.
I uploaded all the files and database into the After the dns resolves can you please convert the site and database to ravennuke for me. I have tried quite a few times and can not get it right. I would really appreciate it. Thanks |
