I had earlier a working Nukecops GoogleTap on my PHP-Nuke 7.2. I upgraded to 7.6, latest patched and latest Sentinel this week. The Google Tap ability was naturally lost everywhere, but not in the blocks 5 Last Links and Top 10 Links, where I can see the link:

Why are html working in just these two blocks on the site?

I uninstalled the 5 Last Links block and tried to add it again, but it blocked the site with the error:
Parse error: syntax error, unexpected T_STRING in C:\xampp\htdocs\nuke\blocks\block-Last_5_Links.php on line 29
line 29 is:
Code:

$content .= "<img src=images/blocks/icon_dot.gif>&nbsp;<a href=\"links.html&l_op=visit&amp;lid=$lid\ " target=\"_blank\">$title</a><br>";

I can install block-Last_5_Links_GT_Next_Gen without problems. Grateful for an explaination![/code]

The problem is that when you upgraded, you lost all your original core file edits. There were edits required to mainfile.php, header.php, footer.php at a minimum that I can recall.

Or, you can get my ShortLinks (was patterned off of GT-NExtGEn) and re-do your edits that way.

What I hated about the old GT and GTNG was that it required you to hard-code your links in the blocks. Even the .4a beta version of GTNG did not have the blocks auto-tap working properly. I have extended this quite a bit and you no longer have to modify your block files.

Thanks. Can you understand why the links blocks show html, when I click on the links despite that Google Tap is not anylonger used? Unfortunately, the code I posted above is also changed to html despite it was not it prior to posting.

The old GoogleTap and GT-NExtGEn required you to physically modify the block files to hard-code the links as shortened. That is why you are still seeing those are 'tapped'... ???

Again, I suspect the reason why the "Google Tap is not anylonger used" is the reason I gave above in my first post that you have probably overwritten your core file edits and possibly even your .htaccess file?

You might be better off just starting over with incorporating my ShortLinks mod for this. The shortened links are almost identical to the previous GT-NExtGEn.
