Installing 2.5.14 question

I currently have 2.4.2

I asked Evaders99 from nukeresources how to update to 2.5.14. He suggested to go ahead and install the complete version of 2.5.14.

I have down loaded NukeSentinel_2514_66-81.tar.tar from here.

Now my question are.

Having this other version currently in place. I should just read through the install a perform the necessary work? Do I need to take precautions since I had a previous version?

Make sure you have no old files called sentinel somewhere and check also nsbybass.php isn´t in your root because this file moved to includes check also the "Edit For Core Files".
