Recently, I upgraded to PHP-Nuke 7.633 and noted that after the patching phpbb is reported to be 2.0.17 whereas PHP-Nuke 7.6 contains 2.0.10. If I am going to upgrade the forum should I start with 2.0.11 or 2.0.18? Why do the patching change the forum version?

It's been a while but I believe that to upgrade the Forums you have to run thru each of the upgrade steps in sequence ... from 2.0.10 to 11 to 12 etc. The current version of Forums is 2.0.22.

If you bite the bullet and upgrade to Ravennuke you'll get 2.0.22 as part of the process and you won't have to worry about either Forum upgrades or patches again.

If you've downloaded the Patched files from

recently, the Forums files were removed. So you would have to start from 2.0.11.

If your package does have Forums files, then it is probably 2.0.17 and you should start from 2.0.18.
