I am not familiar with Ion Cube but from the error Site error: the file /home/assault/public_html/modules/Clan_Roster/files/includes.php requires the ionCube PHP Loader ioncube_loader_lin_4.4.so to be installed by the site administrator.

you are missing....ioncube_loader_lin_4.4.so

Did you change or overwrite something?

I had this same error earlier, but my server operator only said "fix now" in the support ticket. He didn't say how, or why it started not-working.

Yeah, its related to your host having done something. They could also have upgraded your PHP so that the default is no longer PHP4.

You have a script which is encrpted so you will need to upload the ioncube loader files to webroot/ioncube
You can download these from the ioncube website

You seem to be pulling a lot of external data into your homepage and it may have been one of these data feeds failing that stopped the site from loading.

I have uploaded the new files. Do I need to do the runtime install or the ini file? I did not install this the first time so I dont know what to do.

I cannot locate the php.ini file to edit.

Somehow the site is working again but the link to the Member Roster is not working again. In regards to the external data. My site has as much as most other clan sites are using so I would hope that it is not the issue.

Not sure how to proceed.

As I told you in our PM's, your rnconfig.php file was not saved correctly. I corrected it and that restore your site.

As to your ioncube issue, your php.ini file with the zend loaders was missing. How or why, I have no idea. It's nothing we did. I created a new php.ini file and that fixed your ioncube issue.

Thanks! RavensScripts

Since it was not where I would have expected it I can't say for sure. I placed the one I created in your root folder. If your site was running w/o it then I don't know how nor can I explain it Laughing

As was stated up above, you need to use the PHP4 .htaccess override until we remove PHP v4.x from the server as the primary version.
