She is currently going through some issues with her back and whether she will be able to walk much longer, and now if that wasn't enough we were called last night that her Step father is terminally ill. He had a seizure about 2 weeks ago and after brain scans have found many lesions in his brain. There are so many they can not find the original tumor. Hospice has been called into help the family through this situation. This is on top of her real father health issues I am just so impressed with my wifes strength. My Mrs. is under a tremendous amount of attack at the moment. Thank goodness we have Jesus to support us, I can't imagine how people cope without him. Just ask for prayer that she remains strong and center on Him throughout it all. Thanks all.
Hope to be back soon, miss everything..... |

Lord, we know that You are very aware of this situation. We ask Your healing touch on his wife if that is Your will. We pray that the doctors will have much wisdom and keen eyes to read each and every test accurately. We ask that they will know precisely the depth of the problem and will be able to prescribe the treatment to allow her not only to walk but to be able to walk without pain. We pray Your mercy and grace be especially bountiful to this dear couple and their family and friends that are concerned over this. May they keep their eyes focused on You through all of this trial, knowing that Your grace is sufficient and Your will be done.
In Jesus Name we pray all of this, Amen |

Thank you Raven, just a followup on her step-father. We were notified from family in El Paso that he past away this morning. It was expected to get the call, but when it comes it is still tough to deal with.
Forgot to add that she had follow up shot today with 2 more schedule over next 2 weeks in her back again. Maybe it will work again.... |

Thank you everyone. Really appreciate all the prayers. She had a good nights sleep for the first time in many weeks. That has to be from all the support we have received from here and our church family. Prayers make such a big difference. Again, from my family to our of you, thank you very much.
She is standing straight this morning too....shot is starting to work a little along with the prayers. |

May the short writing in the first post on this thread bring some comfort to your wife in the passing of her father.

Thanks Raven. She appreciated your post.
This morning it appears she is having a lot of relief from the back discomfort. The shots and all the prayers have worked to ease her discomfort so much, she felt like getting up this morning and making me bacon and eggs...... That has not happened for a while. She smiled so big when she gave them to me. She was beginning to feel a little worthless I think and this makes her feel much better when she is able to contribute. Thank you all for your continued prayer support. I really do appreciate all the help you have given us. |
