forum topic displayed with out nuke?

I am a noob: Here is my sign

I have a link that is displayed via a php script on a non nuke page.

It opens a specific forum topic in a new window.

Problem is that forum topic in the new window is nested inside nuke which makes it rather bulky.

(I plan to learn how to make the script work inside the nuke theme, but I would also like to know how to call the forum topic with out the nuke wrapper)

If you are using the nuke integrated phpbb then there is no way to display it w/o nuke unless you modify a whole bunch of code. This code is what calls nuke: forums.html&file=viewtopic&t=4. If you try to access the post any other way (like directly), you will not have the framework to display it. Now, you could write your own php script to directly read the database tables and format your own window, but other than that there is no way.
