I am currently running php-nuke clan (nukesentinel comes with it) and it was giving me problems earlier and is again now...

I was having problems before but I updated to the newest version and it fixed most of my problems...

But.. a few MAJOR problems are that you can go to a page on my site, it will say that I've been blocked, then I go to the main page and it shows me as unbanned and everything...

I also get many emails saying that it caught people and I check the banned ips and it's empty!

I even tried manually banning it and the page just takes forever to load then it disconnects me saying "The connection timed out" so....

I am pretty sure that is the only problem but it's huge...

Can someone PLEASE help me? Very Happy

As an admin your IP is probably in the protected range, which means you may see the blocked message, but your IP isn't banned.

Check your blockers to make sure they are set to block users.

Also can you confirm what version of Nuke and Sentinel you are using?

NukeSentinel(tm) 2.5.16: Enabled

I just checked, they are all on...

I tried a proxy and got the message but wasn't banned...

Unfortunately the instructions that come with Nuke Sentinel cannot cater for every installation.
Depending on which version of NS you were using previously you may have to do a clean install.
At the very least, you should compare your old file strucure with those in the lastes release as some files have removed or been removed completely.
If you have skipped a version or two, you may also need to rn the update sql files to bring your database tables into line with the latest release or my own preference is to dropp all the tables and start clean.
