Rather hastily last month I signed up to a years hosting package and installed the available nuke version - 7.9
I've done some reading around since then, I'm well aware you recommend 7.6 or better yet, raven-nuke.
In the meantime i've tried installing Sentinel, but with my limited knowledge and experience I've had numerous problems with the core file edits. Most of the time I cant even find the appropriate lines stated in the readme instructions. My site has been running alright (from what I can tell) so far... But I'd rather act now before a hacker spots the sitting duck.
I'm looking for someone who can either:
A) Perform the necessary core file edits to get sentinel running on nuke7.9
B) Install raven-nuke under my hosting package and 'transfer' my existing nuke site setup (i.e news articles, blocks, modules & forums) to raven-nuke.
I'm not sure if what im asking in option 'B' is entirely possible. Ideally, it would mean that things look exactly the same - all forum posts remain intact etc.
I have paypal and willing to pay, ofcourse.
Excuse me in advance for being a huge amateur and if i've left out any essential details to my case.

jmg1, there are actually good instructions within the RavenNuke(tm) HowToInstall manual within the download. It walks you through how to do such a migration. I would recommend you getting XAMPP on your local PC and install your current site into it and then "test drive" the instructions. You might very well be able to do this yourself.
Please note that there are several forums discussions here as well which discuss this and any issues people have had. It would be worth searching for answers there first if you run into any issues.
