How to show a message to site guests only.

I would like to know how I would go about showing a message to guests only.

Example:

If user is guest show message *You must login to record you score [link here].

Same goes for showing a google ad or any other advertisement ads to guests only.

If you're looking for PHP code, it would be

if (!is_user($user)) echo 'MESSAGE';

Or if you mean without doing coding, you can make Blocks that are only visible to Anonymous users

You can also use the messages module and set the message to anonymous users only.

If it's a Google Ad you can do what Evaders said and put it in a block and set it to Anonymous users.
