exclude topic from stories_archive?

I'm wondering if there is a way to exclude single topic from the stories_archive page?

maybe with "if" rule inside index.php?

and the same in "Topics"

Absolutely, just check each sql statement that is being built with _stories in the table name (the FROM) and you could add to the WHERE clause a

" AND != '12'"

The example above is assuming you want to exclude topic id 12.

If you want to exclude multiple ones you might try this syntax instead:

" AND NOT IN ('12', '23', '2')"

This last syntax I know is possible in MySQL 5 and greater. Not sure on below that.
