Hi all,
how the moderate comments feature works?
I was testing on my local machine, and I allowed anonymous posting + moderate = admin.
Then I logged out both from admin and user, and posted a comment.
It was immediately visible on the site.
Moderation isn't suppose to keep a comment on "hold" until admin review it?
Cheers

Possibly it is checking your cookies and thinking you are an admin even though you are logged out. |

No I don't think that is how news comment moderation is supposed to work. Instead it is kind of like slashdot.org. You moderate by assigning scores to posts. I don't think this feature is really worth using, nor has it been tested thoroughly. |

I see...
Well, that should go into the todo list tho...having to register to a website only to post a comment can be considered a pain for most users and experience teach how bad is allowing everybody to post without moderation.
On other instance this would be another good reason to implement openid on RN.... |
