I am attempting my first upgrade by myself from 2.5.16 to 2.5.17 and then on to 2.5.18 in Sentinel.
I downloaded 2.5.17 and unzipped it.
The major problem I am having now is that the UPGRADE files don't tell you which files need to go in which folders when you upload them.
Clarification: Some files clearly go in admin/ or abuse/ or admin/case/,
but files like up2512-2513.php, where do they go?
It didn't put them in any sub-folders in the zipped up download, so I have no way of knowing if I am uploading the files to where they need to go.
Did it UNZIP improperly? is there a way I can determine where everything goes in a reasonably systematic fashion?
Also, I visited the NUKE website and cannot find the upgrade for 2.5.17 at all. Was it removed because .18 was released? I was thinking I would re-download and try again. I searched the entire site and the 2.5.17 upgrade doesn't seem to show up.
Any advice wouyld be most appreciated. Thnaks in advance for any answers/ideas. |

To upgrade from 2.5.16 you can use 2.5.18 full version or the upgrade pack.
I prefer the full version and I donīt use IE to download from nukescripts.
You īll find older versions of NukeSentinel e.g. at http:/cybertipps.com in the download section but you donīt need the version 2.5.17.
Read also the readme file of NS. The nsnst_installer is in a folder (with files files like up2512-2513.php) and nsnst.php is a single file which you should both upload to your root to run the upgrade. |

What are you using to unzip the file? There should unzip into subfolders if you have the right options selected. |
