I have inherited control of a PHP-Nuke site that uses CNBYA 4.4.2. Users are unable to edit their own signatures. However, I as ADMIN can. I think it is related to CNBYA but I am clueless with it, though I am comfortable with PHP and MySQL. Any pointers? |

Is the problem that the signature isn't properly displayed if it's changed via Your Account? If so, it should be possible to change the signature via the Profile function in the forums.
There is an open task to allow signatures to be changed via Your Account in the upcoming RNYA, but it's not guaranteed that this function will make it in the 2.3.0 release. More likely, we will focus on combining the Forums profile page with the Your Account user info page, and address the signature at the same time. |

Sorry! I just realized you were saying that the user cannot even edit the signature via Your Account. I don't believe there is a setting to prevent that - at least not in CNBYA.
The only forum settings I could find are whether or not to allow signatures and the maximum signature length. Were any changes made to the code to prevent this, or to allow only admins to change it? |
