For the 2nd time in two months...to the day....we've had this problem. ALL our posts disappear....with the exception of polls and announcements. The only difference this month is that 2 of my admins and their accounts were deleted in addition to the posts - completely gone! Two years of posts....gone.
I had to re-store the back up from August 1st to get their accounts back.
I'm concerned that this is going to happen again next month...like there is a bug of some sort that triggers the forums to we wiped out on the same day.
Does anyone know why this is happening? How to stop it? |

Check all your settings within the forums administration. It sounds like you used Forum Prune and therefore you are now missing entries.
If I remember correctly there was indeed a bug with the prune function but I can´t remember the forums version. Should be fixed in the current version.
Whats your version ? |

No...I think we were hacked. ALL my members including myself are now banned from the site. Earlier when it was still up...the theme default changed on everyone. We were missing members, including 2 admins, from the memberlist.
We have NukeSentinel installed...so I'm really confused why and what is happening.
Very frustrating. |

Yes thats possible but I can tell you I never used additional admins and was hacked only 1 time without additional protection like NukeSentinel years ago.
Check your logfiles and you will find out more. |

I am working on mrs_fuzz site. I am concerned the server is not stable. We've run over this before with no successful conclusion, the host says the database server is running fine. |

Not that this fixes the issues of disappearing posts, etc... but
Someone added the entire US IP address range into the Import to Blocked Range function in Nuke Sentinel.
No malicious actions otherwise.. nothing defaced, no admin privilege escalations, no new fies. It's otherwise non-remarkable. |

Thank you! Only 1 of them has access to the server. I'll have to have a lil' chit chat with her. |
