I'd like to download & install Coppermine on my site. I have a few questions for you:

1) What version would you recommend for my 6.8?

2) Where may I download it?

3) Shall I GT it? (just consider that my site is GT'd)

4) Shall I apply any security patch?

Thank u very much in advance! Wink

There was some security issues with coppermine last month, but I would assume the latest version has all these patches in, so you wont need to do manual updates.

I had trouble GT'n my coppermine. At least with the coppermine GT I downloaded from gt nextgen site. I just GT the 1st page in the end manually. It's on my to do list to fully tap it.

Delete:
modules/coppermine
admin/case/coppermine.case
admin/links/links.coppermine
admin/modules/coppermine
blocks/Any block that starts with: block-CPG

Drop from the db:
cpg_installs
nuke_cpg_albums
nuke_cpg_categories
nuke_cpg_comments
nuke_cpg_config
nuke_cpg_exif
nuke_cpg_pictures
nuke_cpg_usergroups
nuke_cpg_votes

That should get it.

Since MeG is not supported anymore I would suggest coppermine. Or If your comfortable with PHP you could port one of the many Forums Mods that add a photo gallery to your boards. I use coppermine and love it.

which I modified to add some other links on it.
Oh no! We both added a search-author to it!

When he said top forum block, I assumed he meant the latest forum post block at the top of my site, not the Top Forum Users.

You make a snyde comment about how my Top User block looks like a block on your website. That is my business.

Anyway this thread is not going to turn in to another silly argument.
