I'm not sure what is trying to 'pop up' when I visit that site but my browser is killing it.
All I can see is quite a few parsing and other CSS related errors.
If you have tried other default themes then the likely candidate is a corrupted file or file uploaded in ascii instead of binary mode.
Re check mainfile.php, header.php and footer.php

Hi there, I solved the problem basically my latest posts block stopped working along with my custom main menu which is a shame as they are both very nice add ons etc. anyway I deactivated them as the sites pulled back together.
cheers

Well there is 'working' and there is 'working'. The forum block is too wide so you might want to check into that (see what it looks like in a center block).
If you get time you might want to seriously consider giving that theme a once over - 714 errors, 3 wanrings and a number of CSS error once fixed, should speed things up no end.

mrix, what version did you upgrade FROM?

Also, check those blocks for the presence of the $dbi variable. If this is in there, there are a few forum posts (one sticky actually) which addresses this.
