the referer log is just empty through administration. Haven't checked the DB yet.
I see this is no longer in the distro. I actually don't recall if it ever was, but just that it just stopped working when upgrading.
I haven't dived into the code yet, has anyone else? |

Search the forums I believe this was asked before. |

The referrer functions are now done through NS. You can look in there for the list....so I have been told....I have not looked as of yet. There was a security issue with how it was done previously. (I do not know what the issue was)

I don't believe it was a security issue. Is was basically because it was being done in two places NS and in the Nuke Admin. NS did it better so we kept that.
If it is still showing then you probably have some old files that need removing after your upgrade. Therefore you should a file comparison to see what files can be removed. |

Yes, it was removed because it was duplicated functionality. Why waste those server resources!
If you look in the RavenNuke (tm) package inside the UtiltyFiles directory you will find a single file script (File Compare) which will locate any files left over that might need removing. |

I stand corrected. I could have sworn I read on here about some security issue with it. Oh Well. Thats what I get for speaking up.

Lets just say if there was a problem, we wouldn't be advertising it too loudly as many people don't use RN |

maybe i'm missing it, but I'm not seeing referers in nukesentinel. I'm seeing blocked referers, and a link to it that says 'display referers' but not active or "good" referers. |

interesting...
sorting by date ascending doesn't seem to work, but descending does. Thoughts?
Any way to filter out results from my own site? I have 2 urls, and both are showing up in the referer multiple times.
how about blocking entire domains instead of just urls? I have casinos.blahblah.com with different urls all appearing in the referer and if i block 1, the others still need to be blocked. |

No problem. You could use htaccess to block referers with certain words in their name or add them to NS referer blocker using wildcard matches |
