today someone deleted the forums on a site that i help with. I replaced the forums in the db. I can see them in there. On the site however it shows the forum names.. the number of posts.. and the last posters name. When you click to go into a forum i see this
Code:
There are no posts in this forum.
Click on the Post New Topic link on this page to post one.

Does anyone know how to fix this? It is a bit of a problem..lol Razz

Did you restore all of the forum tables? nuke_bbtopics, nuke_bbposts, nuke_bbposts_text, nuke_bbsearch etc, they all tie in with each other, it's no good just restoring 1.

When I moved server, It took me awhile to get it all working again, I had same problem, I had to spoon feed the db all night to get it all back in, once its there, it should all link up and work.

I Yim'd you this also.

Go into forum admin and select Forum Admin -> Management. Assuming you see the index, on the far right select Resync and see if that helps.
