Greetings from Alaska! I really like the way the whoiswhere updates the information in the block only.
I would like to use that script, and perhaps db to update the .:: Now Playing Details ::. on

I have been looking around, and asking around how to update the content of a block only - such as the db info - as whoiswhere does nicely, but thus far have only been able to make the whole page refresh.
I think the whoiswhere script would be perfect for what i am tryin to do, there isnt much information on making blocks refresh, and it would be great to use the whoiswhere function of the refresh if possible.

Just for clarification, there is no database. My WiW block uses memory tables and therefore is not static, meaning that nothing is saved after that browser session
Secondly, to make a block refresh separate from the rest of the page I use an INLINE frame (IFRAME). The IFRAME then calls the content to be displayed at the given interval. In this case it calls a 'background' module for its content/feed.
