GFX/GC bug in 7.3RC0 and RC1

Well after a dozen install/reinstall I have to report that for me there is a bug in the GC security feture in the distro.

I Tried uploading from a windows box, two really, I unzipped on my site. I only tuched one file config.php and tried every editor I could think of from word to vi. I tried diffrent versions of config.php. I tried installing the databases with the install and by using phpMyAdmin or just just MySQL.

The best I could do was get it to work for the admin login but not for the regular login in the login block or user info block.

I went back to a virgin install of 7.3 and the problem was reversed. normal login worked but not on admin. added chatserv 2.5 and it is working normaly for both now.

I seem to be the only person who is having this problem and guess I have it narrowed done to two files that are diffrent admin.php and index.php in your_account mod.

I am going to see if I can figure out what is causing this as for me it is a very real and reproducale bug, so if I got it someone else will sooner or later..

Youre not the only one. Just installed last night and its pretty exasperating. Rolling Eyes

I went thru same process except was able to log in from main login instead of blocks. Now cant log in at all as user and of course that makes it impossible to log in as admin

Can you not log in at all or is it just the graphic security check you are having problems with.

My problem is just the graphics, which of course yuo can edit config.php and turn off. there was a thread somewhere about not being able to log in at all.

Unable to log in from user info box and regular log in box. Log in can occur in center but interestingly, a graphix check is there and I indicated 0 in config.php.
