Hi,

I am using v 7.2 and have phpBB v 2.0.7 embedded. How can I upgrade to the v.2.0.10 of phpBB and still have it embedded in my site?

I downloaded update files from the phpBB site and in it are specific php files that are for 2.0.7 to 2.0.10. Can I just replace these files with the new ones? Will this affect how the board is embedded in my site?

I haven't done any modifications besides the theme which I downloaded of a site.

Thanks

You can't use files downloaded from phpbb.com, they are not ported to work with Nuke, get the ported upgrade packs at

OK,

I found 3 files at nukeresources.com BBtoNuke208, BBtoNuke209 and BBtoNuke210.

I have downloaded them but am unsure how to install the upgrades. Do I just upload the files to my server?

BBtoNuke208 has a folder called includes that I can't find any corresponding folder on my server. Also there is a updatedb.php file that I don't know what to do with.

Also I see that this site is not using the latest version. Is there any benefit to me doing the upgrade?

Any help would be appreciated, I don't want to mess my site up.

Thanks

If you are using Nuke 7.2 you should have a includes folder alongside the blocks, admin, modules, themes, etc folders, the upgrade packs are simple to apply, check the download descriptions at nukeresources for instructions, basically you must upload the files and run the upgrade scripts included with each by pointing your browser to

I don't use GT, i use another variant, i imagine the GT will no longer get updated but it would be best if someone asked the authors.

Dont know - its just not rewriting Sad Do you use the header and footer file GT modifications or just the mainfile supermod.

Im using the mainfile supermod......could be the reason.

I just reverted back to old header and footer with GT addition - forums are now working.

Very Happy Sad

I need to use the mainfile version.

What do i need to do to get the forums to stop using the header and footer to get the GT info, but rather use the mainfile.php.

Ive looked through the whole of the forums, there is NO include or require_once for the header or footer.

Im guessing here but it seems to me i need to somehow find how these 2 files are been called upon and do an require once for the mainfile.php.

Can anyone help me?

If you mean to have them use the code as it was changed to in version 0.4a download it again and check the instructions for editing both files, i.e. all the code from header.php was changed to:
nextGenTap(1,0,0);
