The Matrix Trillogy.

What did you think?

I really liked the first one.

The second one was enjoyable but only raised my expectations for the third movie.

The third movie was a total disappointment and completely ruined the whole trillogy for me. I was just plain offended by the blatant attempt to make Neo into a Jesus figure.

The first was a great movie. the rest...

They ooze blandness and pointlessness from every pore. They are wretched sniveling, putrid attempts at a movie.

Well maybe not that bad, but lord they weren't good!

I wish I hadn't seen the 3rd. I saw the second and thought well maybe they are going somewhere with this and they were-- downhill.

The first had a few flaws, but only a few and had a lot of great scenes. I still watch it, but I don't think I will ever watch the 2nd or 3rd again. They even scared me away from the animated shorts.

The animated short that I watched was just mild porn IMO. These two people are running around in the practice matrix cutting each other's clothes off and making passionate looks at each other. There is a lot of partial nudity. It was sad.

Well that pretty much does it for me and the animated shorts.. Only partial nudity.

No really, have you seen "The Ghost in the Machine"?
The Matrix would not be without that movie and it has some of the sexiest scenes because we know she is naked, or near, but we can not see her.

What you don't show is always more sexey then what you do show.

I'd agree with TM on all his points.

The animated shorts made more sense then #2 or #3 films. Usually a #2 fails and the #3 does well in movies, but the matrix proved that wrong.

I watch the original release of 'The Matrix', on a regular basis...

The reason I popped in here was to mention that the heavy green cast, that is evident throughout most of the first release, is an EXCELLENT resource for setting up and testing widescreen HDTV's, particularly LCD, DLP, and LCOS RPTV's!

If you can get 'The Matrix' looking good on your HDTV, you got it made. Dittos when you are considering the purchase of a new set. 'The Matrix' will quickly point out whether or not a display is given to

I loved the first one but agree the second and third were terrible.

Like all follow on's they seem to lose the plot and make up with special effects and sex.
