on nov, 11 (don't ask) i am going to stop smoking, again. I gave up drugs over 12 years ago---(not so hard) i have cut down on wild women---(hard) now smoking---(REALLY HARD) i love 2 smoke. I like the way the smoke fells going down in my lungs,,, I like the way it clams me down... but i don't like the fact that it is going to kill me ... so could it get some prayers asking our lord to help me overcome this.
Thank You

Lord, we ask that You would give elrayjones the strength that he needs to endure a withdrawal from the effects of smoking. We ask that he might be surrounded by those who will encourage him to stay the course. We further ask that during this time the stress level around him will not be such that he would feel the need for smoking. We ask all this in Christ's Name, Amen. |

Please include me in this prayer as well as I too want to stop smoking. Also I have been uneployed for more than 6 months now. I know the Lord has taken care of me and my family during this dry spell and am thankful, but I am so ready to rejoin the working class again. Would you also pray for me in this area? In fact please pray for me in any area that the Lord directs you to. Thank you very much. |
